Once upon a time in the southwest of France, in the heart of Périgord Noir, there was a castle overlooking the Dordogne valley. Situated on a cape, perched above the river, peacefully flowing by castles, beautiful nature and picturesque French villages, the Rouffillac castle is surrounded by 12 acres of park and woodland and provides guests with breathtaking views of the valley.

Historically, this lovely 950 m2 Renaissance castle belonged, among others, to the Duke de Noailles.  A grand structure, Château de Rouffillac began as a fortified manor in the 17th century. During the 18th century it was enlarged and converted into the elegant Renaissance castle it is today.

Accessible through a private 900m tarmac road and equipped with 3 entrances, the castle has several outbuildings (among which, a recently renovated 170m2 dwelling house and a 200m2 building with a caretaker, garage and stable) and can be accessed by a helicopter.

With room for up to sixteen people, the castle itself is in very good condition. The building is an undisputable architectural jewel, without any big renovations left to be made and with a perfectly secured roof.
