Mr. and Mrs. Postman, walking the Parisian streets. Picture: paris.fr

Yarn bombing is a type of street art that employs colorful displays of knitted yarn or fabric (rather than paint or spray) to enhance the look of a public space.

Or, in the words of an artist actually practicing this ludicrous craft, it’s

putting knitting in some unexpected public space and then running away giggling wildly!

Congrats! Yarn bombing has finally hit Paris!

See those little guys here, smiling their robo-smiles and sporting their twirled private-eye moustache?

Cute, aren’t they?

So which one would you rather allow to swallow your letter – the ravishing lady or the sceptical gentleman?
