We are always happy to welcome back to Paris, Mark and his charming wife Alison. Our Australian friends, who have been our guests three times already, avow to have found their second home with Les Studios de Paris. Tireless explorers and assiduous novelty seekers, they have nevertheless stayed true to one thing – their cozy million-dollar-view nest above the City of Lights. Now back home in the land of koalas and kangaroos, Mark lifts the curtain on their Parisian sojourn and reveals their impressions on staying with Les Studios de Paris in their favourite city in the world.

You are a return customer with Les Studios de Paris and always choose to stay with us for your Parisian getaways. What do you like about it?

We found Les Studios de Paris professional and friendly to deal with. This is our third stay with them. The first one was 6 years ago, the second was 4 years ago and the last one – just a month ago! Spending a month in one of Les Studios de Paris apartments is an affordable way to really develop an appreciation of a great city like Paris.

Do you have a favourite Les Studios de Paris apartment? How did it capture you?

I could say that we left our heart in the Million Dollar View apartment. This was our second stay there and we enjoyed it immensely. The apartment is really well-sized and perfectly located and we were happy to spend our time there. We did a lot of reading and relished many bottles of Champagne & Alsace Riesling, often sitting on the balcony and enjoying the picture-postcards views over the magical Paris our apartment had to offer.

How did a typical day in The Million Dollar View start / end for you?

Our normal day included breakfast and a large number of dinners in our apartment, enjoying the stunning panorama of Paris in the background. With a backdrop like this we hardly wanted to leave our nest for one of the restaurants down the street, so we frequently preferred staying in for dinner. After breakfast we would have a couple of espressos in a local café, then take the metro and browse the local attractions and art galleries. We enjoyed walking around a different area of Paris each day and usually stopped for lunch at a different café or restaurant.

Our interests are art, design, architecture, food and wine. As Paris sums them all up, The city always sounds like the most pertinent choice for a perfect vacation destination.
