The Luxembourg Gardens produce their own honey ?!?
You’re buzzing me, right?
Actually, we’re not. This is a rare chance to see a real apiary up close!
But “bee-ware” of the bees, please!
Our photographer almost got stung by one protective honey-maker, while taking this photo!
Located in the southwest corner of the Luxembourg Gardens, this beehive village was founded in 1856.
You can even taste its honey! The Luxembourg school sells it in the garden’s Orangerie each autumn. Yummy.
What a rare “délice” to bring back home from Paris, don’t you think?
