Romeos and Juliets of the world – unite!

And so they did.

They even left a trail.

In a declaration of undying love, valentines from around the world express their affection by engraving their initials on padlocks, fastening them to the railings and tossing the keys into the Seine (much to the disappointment of Parisian authorities).

Now thousands of ribbons and padlocks create this gaily coloured mosaic, glimmering in the sunlight on the Pont de l’Archevêché – a bridge overlooking the Notre-Dame Cathedral.

Yeah. The things we do for love…
